Being a Noob

Adopting a noob mindset is the greatest thing you can do for yourself. A veteran always knows how things are done. What the process should be. A noob does not know anything, and has the mindset to ask why. Oftentimes I see the veterans feeling confident about how things are, but not being able to explain why. I see this at the level of individuals, groups, and companies.

Companies that do not ask themselves why, end up doing things the way they have been done. This ends up being the culture that brings down giants. Big companies don’t get destroyed by competitors, they get destroyed by themselves. They fail to look at why they do things the way they do and grow complacent.

Do not be a veteran, be a noob.
